We had the distinct pleasure to interview award winning designer Oleksii Chernov about their original and creative Brand design work. Oleksii Chernov is an award-winning communication designer, that makes our world a better place with their original brand works.
Oleksii Chernov ("OC") answered Design Interview ("DI") questions about their award-winning work Pride Brand. Interview questions prepared by Frank Scott.
OC : We created a brand based on psychology. The most important thing was to create a corporate identity that would be completely aimed at the target audience.
OC : We wanted to achieve a simple and memorable symbol in the logo. As well as a bright and recognizable corporate identity that combines life energy and money. I think we coped with this task.
OC : Design works great for the client and develops further. Increasingly complicating and delving into new branches of the company. We can only proud of the work done.
OC : We spent a month on the logo. About 2 more months for corporate identity. This included the selection of colors, shapes, fonts and the creation of this whole complex.
OC : Yes, was commissioned. The design works great for the client, bringing him profit and recognition.
OC : This design is used by another company.
OC : As always, the client came and we did the work.
OC : I do not remember all the projects in which we were looking for inspiration. But there were many. We needed to unite 2 spheres that do not match. so we looked at a lot of examples every day.
OC : Successful people who change their lives. People who care about their health, are constantly engaged in life with something new and at the same time earn good money. Often these are members of a network business.
OC : It is completely different. Not one competitor in this field of business will not be able to compete with us. Not a single company in this area thought about quality design. Our client was the first.
OC : The company we work with is called Pride. This name was chosen because the goal of the product is not only to educate people and their development, but also to unite them into one community. in one pride.
OC : Pencil and paper were the main in the early stages. Of course, Photoshop and Illustrator helped us bring the entire corporate identity to the ideal.
OC : The fact that it is fully built on the psychological portrait of customers.
OC : We have done almost all the work ourselves. If we lacked skills or knowledge somewhere, we went to look for and learn the information we need.
OC : the role of technology is minimal. This symbol can be drawn and pen on paper. He will remain the same anyway. Style is not important, shape is important.
OC : Very influenced. Before we started work on the design, we studied the client. His behavior on the Internet, his behavior in the community. We studied the client very much to create a really high-quality product.
OC : How to combine into one concept a lot of completely different topics, and direct them to the same target audience.
OC : We received an invitation letter to submit this case. We were very afraid, but still decided to submit a design for the competition.
OC : We studied a lot of information about printing, as well as how to quickly and easily sort large volumes of information. After all, the project itself is very large, much wider than shown in the case.
