Interview with Federico Traverso at Sunday 27th of April 2014: DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
FT : We want our products to give emotions, telling the wonderful stories which we all need.

DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
FT : To create a kind of manifesto, to relax taking our time.

FT : Let make it famous

DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
FT : 1 month

DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
FT : I decided to pursuit an inspiration to comunicate an idea

DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
FT : produced by Myyour

DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
FT : the desire to comunicate an idea

DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
FT : marcel duchamp

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
FT : contract and residential

DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
FT : I don't think there are similar concepts

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
FT : I decided to call it "Everyday" because everyone use to seat everyday in this "chair". It's a kind of "democratic" design".

DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
FT : brain, sheets of paper, pencil and one computer

DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
FT : the approach

FT : my collegue Alberto Brogliato from Brogliatotraverso design studio

DI: What is the role of technology in this particular design?
FT : a main role to reach the final shape

DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
FT : only research to check the uniqueness

DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
FT : to reach a confortable chair, with simple and iconic shape.

FT : I saw your contest in the web
