Interview with Serel Design Team at Tuesday 15th of April 2014: DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
SD : The washbasin is designed for providing its user the opportunity to use the product as single basin and double basin at the same time.

DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
SD : When we start to design Serel 4life Washbasin, we focus on functionalism of use.

DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
SD : This design takes approximately 6 months.

DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
SD : Serel 4life Washbasin is designed by SEREL DESIGN TEAM under the Serel Sanitory Brand. So that Serel Sanitory Factory produce the product and don't sell or lease the production rights.

DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
SD : Serel 4life Washbasin is designed by Serel Design Team.

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
SD : High end and middle segment is the target customer of Serel Purity washbasin.

DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
SD : Serel 4life washbasin is a multifunctional washbasin. It is useful for big families with double washbasin alternative.

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
SD : Serel 4life Washbasin takes name its unique and useful form.

DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
SD : Serel Design Team used cg technologies and CNC machine for prototyping.

DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
SD : Serel Design Team consist of two Industrial Designers, one Mechanical Designer, one Sculptor and one Ceramic Specialist. So that skills of Serel Design Team are proficient for forming the washbasin.
