Interview with Kahyun Kim at Thursday 12th of April 2012: DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
KK : inspired from the action of taking out a book from a bookshelf. The way to turn on the light is similar to taking out a book from a bookshelf.

DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
KK : not just design things but relative human behavior it makes design more better quality.

DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
KK : make it real

DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
KK : more than 1 year

DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
KK : Of course i want to produce my work on myself but it depends on

DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
KK : fun and utility.

DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
KK : Fukasawa Naoto is my most favorite designer and he inspired me .

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
KK : for everyone

DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
KK : rhinoceros, illustrator, photoshop and handdrawing.

DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
KK : The intuitive design

DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
KK : function and technology

KK : for Instinctive
