Bogdanova Bureau ("BB") answered Design Interview ("DI") questions about their award-winning work Bandage Sofa. Interview questions prepared by Frank Scott.
BB : When our team started to design this sofa, first of all, we thought about comfort. The first thing, which you imagine when you think about the sofa is a dozen uncomfortable pillows, moving from side to side and making your rest miserable. When we saw this problem often we decided to fix it with help of a bandage system.
BB : We wanted to create a comfortable product with a timeless design.
BB : We already got a partnership with an international company who are going to produce the Bandage Sofa. The launch was postponed due to COVID pandemic, but we believe it will come soon.
BB : To solve a common household issue.
