: The main principle is achieving balance and harmony through minimalist design. The inspiration stems from the infinity symbol, which represents eternity, and the simplicity of geometric shapes. The bag embodies modern elegance and reflects a luxurious yet minimalist lifestyle.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: The focus was on creating a versatile, functional, and aesthetically pleasing handbag that aligns with minimalist fashion trends. I wanted to achieve a design that resonates with modern lifestyles while maintaining timeless elegance.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: I plan to continue showcasing the Lemniscate handbag in fashion exhibitions and online platforms. There is also potential to expand this design into a series with variations in color and material, catering to different preferences.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: The entire design and production process took 1.5 months, with the final product completed in May 2018.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: This design was a personal project inspired by my passion for minimalist aesthetics and the infinity symbol. It was not commissioned but driven by the desire to blend symbolism and functionality in a handbag.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: The Lemniscate handbag is exclusively produced under my brand, Myura. There are no current plans to sell or lease production rights.

: I wanted to create a handbag that emphasizes balance and simplicity, reflecting a modern lifestyle. The idea of integrating the infinity symbol into the design adds a meaningful and distinctive touch.

: This was entirely my own work. I conceptualized and executed the design without influence or collaboration from other designers.

: The name "Lemniscate" is derived from the mathematical term for the infinity symbol (∞), which represents eternity and harmony. It perfectly encapsulates the essence of the design.

: The project involved a combination of traditional sketching and physical mock-ups to refine the structure and handle design.

: This was a solo project. I handled every aspect of the design, from conceptualization to realization, using my skills in leather crafting and design.

: The primary challenge was achieving the perfect twist in the infinity symbol handle while maintaining its structural integrity. Finding the right angle required multiple trials and was a significant breakthrough in the process.

: I wanted to share the uniqueness of the Lemniscate handbag with a global audience and gain recognition for its innovative yet minimalist design approach.
