We had the distinct pleasure to interview award winning designer Kai Wei, Lin about their original and creative Restaurant design work. Kai Wei, Lin is an award-winning architectural designer, that makes our world a better place with their original restaurant works.
Kai Wei, Lin ("KWL") answered Design Interview ("DI") questions about their award-winning work Piano With Forest Restaurant. Interview questions prepared by Frank Scott.
KWL : I always have a dream to achieve which is every city should redefine at least one smiley building to bring along joy and happiness to citizen. Everyone listens to music, while piano is well known to everyone which it could be either solo or accompanied. So I decided to use piano as my first design concept of this project. Yet I would like to connect the city with forest, to maintain the greens and provide a good environment to interact with the citizen even in the main area of the city.

KWL : About one month to create all the concept ideas and combined them into one.
KWL : This project is all done by myself.
KWL : Everyone.
KWL : Piano With Forest. A piano which found in forest.
KWL : Total of 3 stories, 1752 meter square.
KWL : “Foresty” defined design as a new plantation that grown by full of our heart. In this project, we’d accept the challenge of interacting the music with spaces. As time goes by, PWF is finally finished in march 2017.
