Interview with Won kyung Jang at Thursday 21st of April 2016: DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
WJ : I set the design's focus on making it a necessary good. I paid more attention on the design's harmonization in daily life than technical factors.

DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
WJ : Its most significant part is that it is a printer that can be used as a furniture.

DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
WJ : I will make continuous revisions on it.

DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
WJ : I generate ideas through studying electronic devices and observing the needs of consumers.

DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
WJ : I sought creativity by coming up with a design that can't be found in the market.

DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
WJ : Yes, I am positive about it.

DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
WJ : The design is based on consumers' needs

DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
WJ : The design was inspired by the design of other printers and furnitures.

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
WJ : Single person households.

DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
WJ : It is relevant to the shape of the monitor stand.

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
WJ : I came up with an intuitive name that can be easily understood.

DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
WJ : It's the concept of furniture.

WJ : I made reference to current commercialized prototypes.
