Interview with Alexander Kravchenko at Monday 25th of April 2016: DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
AK : Dance energy refers to TENSEGRITY-tensed integrity. This is the main principle of this project.

DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
AK : Two elements of matter , not with hard links-hover in the air. How is that possible ?

DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
AK : Will try and implement on a large scale.

DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
AK : The project started in June 2015 and completed in September 2015.

DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
AK : Design in this form is the fruit of my imagination and inspiration.

DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
AK : I don't think it is worth to manufacture such things. Because each TENSEGRITY - a single. Although, if someone wants to have it, please. And of course I'll need help in this project.

DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
AK : The craze of TENSEGRITY.

DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
AK : I recently learned about the name of such designs. And of course the work of artists such as Snelson and Koleychuka left a very strong impression.

DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
AK : People who are able to rejoice and wonder. I do not know.

DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
AK : Any TENSEGRITY is unique in its own way. It's like people - have the same structure, but are all different.

DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
AK : The name was invented by my son Daniel. And it accurately reflects the essence of design.

DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
AK : ArchiCad, Artlantis, Photoshop

DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
AK : I think it turned out beautifully.

DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
AK : This is my personal.

DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
AK : Idea - layout - idea - layout

DI: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept?
AK : The choice of material for construction.

DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
AK : I thought the idea was worthy of the competition.
