DI: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?
PMMM : The idea was to show the main aspects of Alentejo Olive Oil since is beginning in Portugal, particular in this peculiar region- Alentejo. The landscapes, the people, the history.
DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
PMMM : The main focus was the nature and the history of this region in make olive oils.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
PMMM : Show the collection to the world and obtain lot´s of sales and inquiry´s
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
PMMM : 6 months.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
PMMM : Was just an inspiration, was not hard, because we have those elements in Alentejo, you just need to find them
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
PMMM : No just for TGTL.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
PMMM : The success of the last work, also inspired in ilustrations and country elements
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
PMMM : Yes, Mário Belém.
DI: Who is the target customer for his design?
PMMM : A classe, men´s and woman´s between 30-64 year´s old, with good professional position and fine food lover´s,
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
PMMM : I don´t know similar designa to this concept on olive oil.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
PMMM : It reflect´s the history of olive oil in Alentejo
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
PMMM : Connection with the nature and people who lives in Alentejo
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
PMMM : Because we won on last editions
