DI: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?
: I clean UI that was not obstructive to let the movies come to their right.
DI: What are your future plans for this award winning design?
: We are going to keep reviewing movies.
DI: How long did it take you to design this particular concept?
: The Screeners has been a work in progress for over a year and we are still working on improving certain things.
DI: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration?
: It is a project from me and a friend of mine. It is all us.
DI: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself?
: Not exactly applicable.
DI: What made you design this particular type of work?
: My love for technology and the digital world is the main driver behind the type of work I do.
DI: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work?
: Probably, but not that I can consciously think of.
DI: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts?
: Other movie review blogs are usually very obstructing and cumbersome to read. We want to bring movie reviews to everyone, not just those who are really interested in it.
DI: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean?
: I honestly don't remember why we used this name, but it's what we started with and what we stuck with.
DI: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project?
: I used InVision and Adobe XD for this project.
DI: What is the most unique aspect of your design?
: The way it gives every movie it's own character.
DI: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills?
: Just some peer evaluation with another designer.
DI: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design?
: Research was simple, how did others do it and what could we do better.
DI: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition?
: Well I already have some experience with submitting my work to design galleries and they usually work.
DI: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work?
: I started doing more peer evaluations.
